CV Chicho Jesurun

Chicho Jesurun started his coaching career in Curacao Netherlands Antilles in 1973. As head-coach of the Wild Cats Felipe II, he became champion in the AA league in Curacaoin 1975 and 1976 and won the Antillean Cup with the Wild Vats in 1976. After serving as head-coach with the Wild Cats, he worked as hitting instructor with the National Team of Curacao and the National Team of the Antilles. Chicho has conducted clinics in Aruba and Curacao working with top coaches from the States, like pitching-coach Charly Green, hitting-coach Stan Sanders and hitting instructor for the Kansas City Royals Charly Lau. From 1996 till 2000 he was head coach of the Amsterdam Expos. Chicho Started his scouting career in 1992 as scout with the Atlanta Braves for Aruba. In 1994 he joined the Montreal Expos as scout in Aruba and till his death on December 2006 he was working as scout- supervisor for the Florida Marlins in Holland but also as Director for whole Europe. In the season 2006 he was part of the coaching staff of HCAW as bench coach. Chicho joined "Playball" Europe from the beginning 1997 as technical advisor and leading Instructor.
